As predicted in the advertising world...the Super Bowl commercials were pretty lackluster.

But the E-Trade urping baby was my favorite...hands down!

And the game?

All of my screaming at the TV was not in vain.

Radvertising: Photo Stamps

I don’t hock a lot of advertising on this blog.

Sure, I let some vendors run ads but I pick them all.

Some of them—I just like the colors.

I guess it’s kinda like people who leave the TV on in the background—they just like the noise.

I really have no aspirations to score lotsa cash from advertising here.

This blog is a bit too rambling topic-wise to draw any real focused advertising demographic.

I’m cool with that. That’s not why I write.

But…

Every once in awhile, I’ll see a cool product that is worth writing about.

Photo Stamps is one of them.

It’s a pretty basic premise—upload photos from your computer and they’ll generate real U.S. postage for you.

Yes, that’s right…no need for a Smithsonian induction to have your picture on a postage stamp.

I’m sure this further exposes my vanity but I thought it was pretty stinkin’ cool.

You can use any image you have—it resizes for you.

Check it out…

The interface is pretty straightforward.

In reality, it’s still a bit pricy.

But if they can make this a bit more cost-effective then…GAME ON!

The mail could once again become fun.

Speaking of...I should have got my royalty statements by now.
